Position Description:
We are looking for a Sales Director for the Network Security Solutions (NSS) Global Accounts business. The Sales Director will lead a team of I/S Account Managers to aggressively prospect, develop, maintain and drive new sales growth while expanding key relationships with Anixter's Global Accounts and all strategic partners. This position will provide tactical leadership for the group and ensure effective coordination of team efforts. The Sales Director will coach and develop members of the team to maintain superior sales skills with the organization.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in a related major is preferred
-Candidate must have excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a dynamic group of sales professionals.
-Previous leadership or outside sales experience is preferred as well as proven track record of developing Global and/or End User Accounts
-5 years industry related experience is preferred.
-Candidate must have strong analytical and decision making skills.
-Ability to work at a fast-pace and learn products, systems, and sales processes.
