Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall profitability of the program
    • Wesco’s Return on Sales
    • Wesco’s Return on Tangible Capital
    • Program Revenue Growth
  • Responsible for working with various Wesco functional leaders to ensure the smooth operation and daily execution of all tasks within the program
  • Responsible for maintaining Vendor Price agreements and master price file for program
  • Responsible responding to RFQ for the Program
  • Tracking Budget vs. Actual Cost delivery on projects
  • Assist in processing PO from Customers
  • New Customer Account Setup facilitation

Program Manager Traits and Requirements

  • A well-rounded individual with experience across a wide range of business responsibilities.
    • Sales/Customer Service
    • Operations
    • Procurement
    • Internal IT Systems and processes
  • Wesco/Anixter experience a plus
  • A creative, self-motivated individual who knows how to get things done
  • An individual who is able to provide a vision and direction for those involved in the execution of the program
  • Strong leadership qualities are a must to have
  • An organized, process oriented individual, capable of dealing with multiple issues at once
  • Has the ability to work closely with other individuals to accomplish goals
  • Has the ability to work in conjunction with the sales team to grow the revenue of the program
  • Has the initiative and knowledge to identify issues, create solutions and implement changes to improve the overall performance of the program
  • Has the ability to understand P&Ls and financials, interpret their results and understand how they can improve and impact those results

Position Description

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn products, systems, and sales processes

· Must be organized and able to multi task

· Provide assistance in solving shipping issues and or/customer discrepancies

· Facilitation and coordination all sales order entries

· Proposal preparation and research, and support timely submissions

· Prepare weekly and monthly Sales Reports and support monthly, quarterly and annual forecast development

· Work with internal contracts group to ensure accurate pricing

Qualifications:

· Preferred 1 -2 years of industry experience

· Strong computer skills including Excel, Word and ability to learn internal systems

· Ability to work effectively with others

· Self-motivation and drive

· Ability to work at a fast-pace and learn products, systems, and sales management processes

· Aspirations to advance career
