Position Description

The inside sales manager is responsible for the overall financial performance of the Inside Sales Representative team for the location. This leader will work closely with the location manager to carry out the initiatives and missions set forth for the branch. The Inside Sales Manager (ISM) will also remain in contact with the Outside Sales Reps to effectively ensure all pertinent tasks are completed for customers. Overall personnel functions regarding the Inside Sales team are the responsibility of the ISM; recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, promoting, and/or termination.

This individual will be responsible for motivating and leading the team through the rigors of a challenging, yet fun, sales environment. The individual must have great vision for laying out plans, both tactical and strategic, for achieving and exceeding daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals. The ISM will ultimately be able to evaluate processes and determine areas where efficiencies can be improved.

The ISM will work with all local vendor partners and acts as the touchpoint to provide baseline reporting. The ISM will also conduct internal trainings. Consistent coaching and recognition is an important aspect of the role.
Your sales skills need be unrivaled, but it also helps if you have:
-At least 2 years previous leadership experience

-Sales experience in the industry preferred

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills

-A confident and determined approach

-Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection

-Self-motivation and drive

-A competitive streak
