This position is located onsite fully supporting our local customer in Odessa, TX.

Position Purpose:

Perform general warehouse operations and support management by acting as first line of assistance for associates. Dependent on volume/size of the facility, may have specialized tasks or have a generalized role working in all departments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Effectively communicate all area activities to designated Oncor Contract Coordination or their designee
  • Accurately complete, maintain, and file required governmental, regulatory, and environmental data and records
  • Process physical material and maintain appropriate inventory levels
  • Facilitates material and inventory corrections
  • Retrieve and analyze job related reports
  • Perform material reconciliation prior to job closing
  • Understand and perform the process of signing in and out materials to employees
  • Understand and perform the process of scanning meters out to and meter returns from employees, prepare meters for shipment
  • Perform accurate monthly inventory counts of all meters, transformers, poles, capacitors and other materials
  • Facilitates and ensures the accuracy of the rubber goods inventory and ensures the correct rotation of dated stock
  • Facilitates and maintains the chemical inventory in the appropriate reporting and maintaining systems
  • Must schedule and execute daily, weekly, and monthly tasks
  • Must keep storeroom and yard clean and organized
  • Ensures daily yard and forklift inspection are completed by assigned personnel
  • Ensures all areas are environmentally compliant
  • Must be able to set up and maintain storm restoration staging areas
  • Must be available to work afterhours, on call-out and scheduled on-call
  • Performs all essential aspects and functions of the job as well as any other specific job requirements

Education, Experience, & Skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be proficient with the MS Office suite including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Preferred proficiently in use of Stores Maximo
  • Must possess organizational skills, ability to make timely decision and take appropriate actions
  • Must effectively communicate and build relationships with other departments, suppliers and personnel
  • Must be forklift operation certified
