Export Compliance Analyst


This position is the connection between our Anixter warehouses and global partners. The department is a team of international experts working to process order from internal buyers. They assist with obtaining product information, order processing, warehouse communication and export coordination using our multiple, certified freight forwarders.

Position Details:

  • Execute international stock transfers for designated countries while ensuring integrity of export transactions
  • Assist with obtaining product information and quotes for overseas offices
  • Communicate order requirements with our multiple warehouses and coordinate with the transportation team

to export the goods to our global partners

  • Create/process export documentation, including Electronic Export Information (EEI – US export declaration)


  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
  • Detail oriented and analytical with high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent communication, prioritization and organizational skills
  • Intermediate Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: TEAMS, OneNote, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Strong customer service skills including verbal and written skills. Able to resolve problems in a timely and efficient manner
  • Hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 to 5:30PM CST

Ideal candidate will have experience in the following (but not required):

  • Basic knowledge of domestic and international logistics
  • Coordinating orders with the Anixter warehouses, outside suppliers and OEM vendors
  • Filing in AES
  • Working with international partners (colleagues, buyers) and freight forwarders
  • Provide a basic Cover letter connecting your experience with the job description
