Job Summary:Indicate why the job exists and the overall function or job purpose.

Leads the design, creation, development and delivery of marketing programs. Plans the strategy to support the growth and expansion of company products and services, and to attract customers to company website, online presence and promote products or services. Creates, conveys brand messages and improves brand awareness. Analyzes statistics and identifies areas to optimize marketing performance. Develops marketing content and explores sales channels. May coordinate involvement in conferences, exhibitions and marketing seminars.

Detailed Description:List the primary duties and responsibilities required to perform this job in order of importance; typically 4 to 6 key responsibilities.

In this role you will plan, market, attend and execute events such as conferences, exhibitions, receptions and meetings. Your responsibility as senior event specialist will include working with cross-functional teams to develop marketing plans, content, brand messaging and event components for virtual and/or in-person events.

· Manage and coordinate event marketing activities for assigned strategic business units or areas. Implement marketing plans and manage associated marketing activities. Ensure scheduled programs are completed on time and on budget and communicate results, best practices, and successes.

· Manage logistics for internal and external events, trade shows and meetings, including developing themes and run of show, preparing and managing event timelines, negotiating with vendors, coordinating production requirements, managing event staff, preparing post-event reports

· Work with marketing communications, digital and business marketing to create related communications (invitations, event overviews, speaker guides and bios) and promote the event

· Coordinate procurement and delivery of promotional and branded merchandise, and display materials

· Design presentations and communications for internal and external audiences. Coordinate with key contacts for implementation and communication of event promotions and marketing programs

· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build professional, consultative relationships with stakeholders

· Demonstrate ability to consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and corporate values

· Collaborate with team members and/or lead complex or special projects

· Maintain master event budget including invoice processing, tracking and recording

· Establish and monitor customer engagement and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of event marketing campaigns and provide insight on how to improve or expand impact. Define approach, tactics and best practices for ROI

· Prepare pre- and post-event recaps and overview decks as needed

· Analyze, track and report on event ROI

· Assist with research and analysis activities such as event metrics and trends, competitive/customer research, etc.

  • 4 to 5 years required, 6 years preferred of product, solution or field marketing experience, preferably in Fortune 500 company.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, combined with an ability to communicate clearly and succinctly to internal and external groups.
