Job Summary:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, executing, and measuring strategic marketing plans, demonstrating a clear understanding of people and how to build awareness about WESCO’s products, services, and solutions to satisfy their needs. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with day-to-day marketing activities as well as contributing and developing to long-term strategy while focusing on meeting deadlines, being responsive to changing business needs, and managing and inspiring a team of motivated professionals. This role can be based out of headquarters in Pittsburgh or Chicago and is not a remote position.

Detailed Description:

· Reporting to the Director, Marketing Communications and Brand Strategy, engages with global Business Marketing, Brand Strategy, Digital Marketing and Project Management teams to create high-impact and engaging marketing and communications deliverables.

· Directs production and hands-on management of all design work through both internal and contracted employees

· Ensures adherence to agreed-upon SLAs (service level agreements) in terms of project quality, accuracy and timeliness

· Provides creative direction on marketing deliverables across multiple print and video mediums

· Translates business and marketing ideas into brand compliant visual designs that simplify and effectively communicate concepts

· Manages and continually updates brand standards and all related templates

· Trains global matrix marketing and communications teams to adhere to brand standards

· Ensure compliance with brand governance and communications guidelines and processes

· Ensure proper archiving and processing of design files and images

· Produces departmental reports and performance dashboards

Job requirements:

  • 5-7 years experience in marketing, graphic design or related area in a progressive national or global organization
  • 3 years experience directly managing teams
  • Experience in related B2B industrial/technology marketing preferred

  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Works well under pressure; thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects and Adobe Acrobat
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft applications - Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to influence others, meet deadlines, and deliver results

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
