Job Summary:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, executing, and measuring strategic marketing plans, demonstrating a clear understanding of people and how to build awareness about WESCO’s products, services, and solutions to satisfy their needs. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with day-to-day marketing activities as well as contributing and developing to long-term strategy while focusing on meeting deadlines, being responsive to changing business needs, and managing and inspiring a team of motivated professionals.

Reporting to the Director of Product & Technical Marketing, the Marketing Manager will focus on product-level programs that drive demand for WESCO’s Door Locking Solutions portfolio. This includes developing internal tools and customer-facing programs and creating marketing campaigns for aligned door locking hardware supplier partners.

Detailed Description:

· Direct and coordinate marketing activities for assigned strategic business units or areas, including advertising, business development, market research, and product development. Implement marketing plans and manage associated marketing activities. Ensure scheduled programs are completed on time and on budget and communicate results, best practices, and successes.

· Develop marketing campaigns in collaboration with other marketing and business leaders, including evaluation of marketing plans and development of strategies to respond to changing market and competitive conditions.

· Understand and interpret customer and sales data to identify opportunities to market and drive sales growth. Recommend methods for developing existing or related markets and expanding into new ones. Keep informed of new marketing approaches and products, services, and solutions offered by competitors.

· Support sales and marketing needs of field sales and supplier product groups at global, national, regional, and local levels.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

☑ General Office – Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.

☐ Outside Sales – Work is generally performed in an office environment, but employee may need to travel to customer sites or warehouse facilities. Driving may be required for an extended period of time with frequent stops and starts. Can be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.

☐ Driver – Work is generally performed in moving vehicle. Driving required for an extended period of time with frequent stops and starts. Can be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.

☐ Warehouse – Work is generally performed in a warehouse environment. The noise level is moderately quiet. Generally well ventilated and well lighted.
