The Learning and Development Specialist position is responsible for working with individuals and teams and contributing to completion of L&D processes in support of global WESCO Business segments. This can include a mix of responsibilities related to the creation, implementation and support for existing and new Global L&D programs and deliverables.

This role is responsible for supporting the sale teams as they transition to the Unified Sales Desk (USD), as well as updates in development. The USD Trainer and Support resource will work closely with other departments to support all internal customer needs and be the first line of field support. The selected candidate will also conduct virtual or on-site training for new, transitioning, and existing sale teams. This could include the creation of training materials such as: tutorial videos, process documents, and quick reference guides. A training background is a plus but not required. This

Detailed Description:List the primary duties and responsibilities required to perform this job in order of importance; typically 4 to 6 key responsibilities.

· Assist all 3 business units USD systems training needs, questions, issues and tech call requests.

· Work with internal teams involved to escalate issues.

· Problem solve live / remotely with individual internal customers on a daily basis.

· Ability to create Process & Best Practices deliverables.

· Design, build, and deploy training material & tutorial videos – using the company standards.

· Onboard new field employees to USD and boundary systems either live or remotely.

· Work with internal teams involved to escalate issues.

· Support training programs learning solutions to business challenges as a part of fostering and improving performance of WESCO employees. This could include contributing to development tasks for classroom, blended, and onsite work for WESCO leaders and their employees.

· Partner with Stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Global L&D team members effectively to complete assigned L&D tasks and responsibilities.

· Create and administer learning programs via our LMS, Intranet, and SharePoint systems, and project management and collateral storage processes.

· Contribute to design and develop relevant deliverables that meet the needs of stakeholders including online courses, job aids, quick reference guides, observation checklists, curriculums, instructor-led training, and manager-led workshops.

· Collaborate with L&D team members to identify new opportunities to produce creative new programs, tools, and learning experiences.

· Administer and produce learning metrics collected from employees engaged in learning events and communicate the data to L&D Program Managers, and business leadership. Align with L&D senior management and program managers on business objectives, outcomes, and ROI expectations. Provide regular status reports and analysis.

· Ability to flex priorities and task completion as business priorities change.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
