The Learning and Development Specialist position is responsible for working with individuals and teams and contributing to completion of L&D processes in support of global WESCO Business segments. This can include a mix of responsibilities related to the creation, implementation and support for existing and new Global L&D programs and deliverables.

As a Sales Process Expert on the Inside Support Team, this role is responsible for supporting the sale team in all sales processes, as well as new processes in development. The sales process expert works closely with other Anixter departments to support internal field customer needs and be the first line of support across all divisions of the company.

Detailed Description:List the primary duties and responsibilities required to perform this job in order of importance; typically 4 to 6 key responsibilities.

Working as a unit to handle daily calls and emails on various subjects and from all departments. Support may include walking sales through a process or testing the system to find the source of an error. The selected candidate may also conduct virtual TEAMS training for new, transitioning, and existing sales teams. The selected candidate will create training materials such as videos and documents. A training background is a plus but not required.

The potential candidate must be knowledgeable of proper procedures and capable of providing excellent internal customer service in the following systems:

· CORE order entry for Storefront/WireXpress/CSC/Accu-Tech.

· CORE Reports and CORE Pipeline

· P3+ Dashboard / P3+ Plan / Pricing Guidance

· Anixter.com



· Mainframe/WMX/CREST

· Utlize team and company tools including Global Service Desk (Assist tickets), Call Center Interface, Group Outlook Email, Microsoft TEAMS, Sales Process Repository.

· Support training programs learning solutions to business challenges as a part of fostering and improving performance of WESCO employees. This could include contributing to development tasks for classroom, blended, and onsite work for WESCO leaders and their employees.

· Partner with Stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Global L&D team members effectively to complete assigned L&D tasks and responsibilities.

· Create and administer learning programs via our LMS, Intranet, and SharePoint systems, and project management and collateral storage processes.

· Contribute to design and develop relevant deliverables that meet the needs of stakeholders including online courses, job aids, quick reference guides, observation checklists, curriculums, instructor-led training, and manager-led workshops.

· Collaborate with L&D team members to identify new opportunities to produce creative new programs, tools, and learning experiences.

· Administer and produce learning metrics collected from employees engaged in learning events and communicate the data to L&D Program Managers, and business leadership. Align with L&D senior management and program managers on business objectives, outcomes, and ROI expectations. Provide regular status reports and analysis.

· Ability to flex priorities and task completion as business priorities change.
