Summary of role

 

For our Central Sales Team in EMEA NSS we are looking for a positive and ambitious Programme Manager who is willing to go the extra mile for some of our biggest global customers. The Programme Manager role is an internal based inside sales role and the Central Sales Team is a fast-paced team delivering complex projects to global customers in the EMEA region.

 

This role involves all aspects of day-to-day sales and customer service management associated with the roll-out of infrastructure, security and services in EMEA. The successful applicant will be hard-working and results driven, with a Blue Book attitude to servicing customers.

 

Main responsibilities

 

·         RFI and RFQ responses

·         Generating sales quotes promptly and accurately

·         Responding to customer service requests

·         Managing vendor relationships as they relate to the account strategy

·         Creating and following Playbook information

·         Working collaboratively with the account Sales leads in EMEA and US

·         Executing to contract agreements

·         Pipeline, project and forecast information (CRM, EMEA Pipeline, etc)

·         Build strong customer relationships, loyalty and retention

·         Actively engage Anixter colleagues and resources to provide a complete customer solution (Legal, Credit, BMG, Purchasing, Executive Team)

·         Work effectively with others in a small virtual team environment

·         Identify and resolve problems (at customer and within Anixter)

·         Back order management, expediting orders and meeting customer required by dates is a high priority task in this role.

 

Special conditions (e.g. frequent travel, early starts and late finishes)

 

·         Inside Sales desk role

·         Late finishes as workload demands due to the global nature of the customers

·         Ability to travel when required to do so

 

 

Tools and equipment used

 

·         Mainframe/PC systems

·         Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Teams is required

 

Qualifications/education required

 

·         Educated to advanced or college level equivalent preferred

 

Necessary skills, knowledge and experience

 

·         Minimum of 3 years experience in Inside Sales or project management

·         Results & quality driven with a sense of urgency.

·         Ability to understand and operate in a complex strategic sales environment.

·         Previous experience with complex account management is desirable.

·         Excellent information management and communication skills; able to reason, negotiate and present effectively

·         Basic product knowledge of key product portfolio (Security, Infrastructure, Services)

·         Excellent Customer Service skills

·         Excellent English language required

·         Second language desirable but not mandatory

·         Ability to navigate the Anixter organisation.

·         Good decision making processes and skills

·         High attention to detail and able to prioritise effectively

·         Good knowledge of Word, Excel PowerPoint & Teams

·         Positive attitude, dynamic, eager to learn and ambitious

·         Well structured and organised with good planning skills

·         Ability to cope well under pressure

·         Enthusiastic and confident nature

·         Good Team Player

·         Knowledge of International Trade and Incoterms is desirable.
