Job Summary:

Our Mississauga office is looking for a Sales Manager for the Centralized Security Sales team. This role is focused on leading a team of Inside sales people.

Job duties

  • Responsible for successfully managing the sales process; lead generation, developing solutions, negotiation, closing and post sales service
  • Lead and train the inside team on Security market/products/customers/sales strategies
  • Work closely with the Anixter Security branch and the NSS and Field sales groups to coordinate project responses
  • Focus on relationship building and growing sales within existing business (Products & Services)
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline and ensure all sales administration is up to date using Anixter systems
  • Account planning and forecasting
  • Conduct a monthly business reviews with the Senior management

Job Requirements

Reporting directly to the VP Sales Central Region, the successful candidate for this position will possess:

Experience & Education

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma, strongly preferred
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a sales supervision or management role

Job-specific knowledge

  • Good knowledge of physical security products, such as video surveillance, access control and intrusion system.
  • Good knowledge of IP infrastructure and accessories (asset)
  • Solid understanding of security and audio and video cabling solutions (asset)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g. Outlook, Excel) required
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), required
