Position Description


As a Global Account Manager, you will be responsible for the sales growth and development of several targeted Canada based global customers on a worldwide basis. The objective is to align Anixter’s vast resources to our customers’ needs on a global scale to maximize our relationship and opportunity to sell. This individual is responsible developing and implementing a global customer selling strategy.

Requirements:

  • Sales skills including but not limited to business plan development, forecasting, professional presentation capabilities, sales cycle management, negotiation and closing.
  • Experience preparing effective sales proposals, contracts, and RFQ’s
  • Demonstrated ability to implement tactical and strategic leadership.
  • Must be able to learn products, sales processes, and systems.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and follow up.
  • Existing Global Accounts Sales experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Verbal fluency in French, while not mandatory, would be an asset.
