Position Description


We are looking for a Wireless Business Manager (WBM) located in Canada who will be responsible for selling and supporting our wireless business across the country. Anixter is committed to providing leading technology solutions coupled with worldwide distribution capabilities and technical expertise to ensure data, voice, video, security and wireless networks can meet the network demands of businesses today and in the future. Anixter serves a variety of markets and specializes in delivering the right infrastructure solutions to our customers around the world.


The WBM will be part of a national team of wireless experts focused on driving and supporting wireless related business opportunities across Canada. Working with our wireless integrators, 3POs (Neutral Hosts), manufacturer partners, developing new business, as well as retaining and developing business with existing customers will be some of the responsibilities.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Achieve national wireless revenue goals
  • Work collaboratively with local sales organization to support customers’ wireless requirements, developing and providing wireless solutions to meet their needs
  • Work collaboratively with Wireless Inside Sales Specialists to support wireless integrators and strategic sales initiatives
  • Deliver prepared sales presentations utilizing support material describing products or services
  • Front line wireless subject matter expert for local Anixter sales people in region
  • Explain wireless technologies, services or products, and answer questions from customers or prospects
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with manufacturer partners
  • Manage wireless integrator partners/program in region
  • Own and manage pipeline and forecast
  • Manage time effectively to achieve objectives daily, weekly and monthly


Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in a related field, strongly preferred
  • 3 to 5 years selling into carrier network environments, specifically wireless - is a plus
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience with wireless technologies and working knowledge of the overall wireless industry: in-building cellular (DAS), WiFi, Public Safety, Macro, Towers, Small Cells and Wireless Broadband
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Results driven with excellent time management, organizational, and overall execution skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Project, Power Point, Excel, and Word. Familiarity with Visio and iBWave a plus.
  • Highly energetic and results driven individual
  • Regular regional travel, periodic international travel
  • Verbal fluency in French, while not mandatory, would be an asset.
