Position Description

  • Although your primary focus will be selling Pro A/V, in this role you will have access to a diverse range of Infrastructure Solutions. These include Telecom, Datacom, Wireless, Data Center, and Security products. We leverage these segments to deliver complete solutions to our Network and Security markets.
  • Serve a variety of vertical markets and the contractor community by suggesting and delivering the right infrastructure solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Actively participate and develop new accounts, generate sales quotes, and handle customer inquiries to help service customers and grow business.
  • Make cold and warm calls, to uncover opportunities in new markets.
  • Provide superior customer service by delivering products and services to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Build strong customer relationships, loyalty, and retention.
  • Actively engage Anixter colleagues and resources regularly to provide a complete customer solution in order to capitalize on opportunities.
  • Work effectively with others in a team based environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales role, preferred
  • Experiencing in network and security sales, preferred
  • Excellent English and French verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, required
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), required
  • A confident and determined approach to learning new sales methodologies and technologies.
  • Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection
  • Self-motivation and drive
  • Strong organizational skills and decision making abilities
  • A competitive streak, results-oriented
