Position Description

  • In this role you will sell a diverse range of Telecom, Datacom, Data Center, CCTV/Access Control and a/v products serving Network and Security Solutions (NSS) market.
  • Serve A/V and Network integrator markets by suggesting and delivering the right solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Actively participate and develop new accounts to help service customers and grow business.
  • Provide superior customer service and solutions by delivering products and services to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Build strong customer relationships, loyalty, and retention.
  • Actively engage Anixter colleagues and resources regularly to provide a complete customer solution in order to capitalize on opportunities.
  • Work effectively with others in a team based environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems.
  • Act as an Anixter values ambassador both internally and externally
  • Lead, demonstrate and remain current on company information, initiatives, technologies, software, services, and comprehensively communicate such through various forums, including presentations and seminars
  • Remain current on computer software and tools utilized by the business, including MS Office Suites (particularly, Excel)
  • Professionally, efficiently and appropriately respond to RFQs and tender packages
    Your sales skills need be unrivaled, but it also helps if you have:


  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • A confident and determined approach
  • Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection
  • Self-motivation and drive
  • A competitive streak
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience responding to RFQs and tender packages
