Client Services is key in providing the sales staff with support in everyday tasks (i.e. orders, quotes, returns, and customer service. Client Services will communicate with customers and internal departments as a backup for sales. Ability to successfully meet expectation of this position, which are outlined below, will allow for potential promotion into a Sales position.

Quotes/Orders

  • Help enter PO's and quotes for sales team
  • Manage open backlog & provide backlog reports
  • Work on clearing backlog and conduct monthly review of the backlog and removal of extraneous items
  • Follow-up with sales on all aging IO's and DS's
  • Help find tracking #s and POD’s for customers
  • Expedite PO's with vendors
  • Maintenance sales orders & update with customer changes
  • Manage customer freight issues

Credit

  • Research and manage credit issues & customer disputes
  • Monitor and enter IB30 and FM09
  • Resolve credit discrepancies, short pays, freight deductions
  • Retrieve, print, and email invoice copies for customers

General

  • Set up info on new accounts when needed
  • Obtain tax certifications when applicable

RMA

  • Enter and track RMA’s
  • Maintain and keep sales RMA log
  • Work with customer and sales to close all open RMA's on a monthly basis
  • Involve manager on a monthly basis regarding any issues
