We are expanding our centralized Business Development team which has achieved tremendous success since it was created three years ago. Not only does this business unit add significant revenue and profit to the company but it is also the feeder system to the rest of the division. Position Description

We are seeking a highly talented and motivated individual who has an exception track record in inside sales, sales management, leadership, performance management and team building. This person will manage, coach and drive a team of newly hired inside sales representatives responsible for developing existing small and medium accounts and prospecting for new ones in targeted vertical markets, handling customer inquiries, generating quotes and writing orders. Your ability to on-board and coach new hires to grow existing accounts and break into new customers through cold and warm calls while becoming technically knowledgeable about our products and vendors is the key to your success and upward mobility. The ideal candidate would have a strong independent work ethic, show initiative, be a self-starter with strong problem solving skills and excel in exceeding our key initiatives and goals.


  • Recruiting, on-boarding and continuous skills development
  • Leading by example in coaching cold and warm calling skills, positioning our value proposition, gaining acceptance and closing deals.
  • Performance management and people development
  • Leveraging all the resources available to put your team in the best position to win.
  • Work effectively with others on the team to accomplish organizational goals and identify and resolve problems.
  • Take ownership of the teams outbound sales activity level, product training path and results.


  • At least 3 years previous sales leadership experience
  • Sales experience in the industry preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with strong sense of urgency
  • Competitive nature
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
