Job Title           Outside Sales Manager

Location           Dubai

Reporting To     Country Manager


Summary of role

To develop a sustainable day to day business

·         Direct ownership of new and existing system integrators in the UAE.

·         Generate new business from new accounts

·         Assist in modelling/building In country Inventory 

·         Build relationships with local vendors


Main responsibilities/Key goals


·         Be responsible for developing and closing new business from new accounts.


·         Participate in monthly sales reviews with your line manager to review past month performance and set goals/ expectation for coming month. This should be done in week 1 each month.


·         Create an aggressive sales environment to ensure all efforts are being made to maximise sales and GP performance both individually and collectively.


·         Assume direct ownership of key target accounts in the location to be agreed with your manager.


·         Be responsible for building relationship with in country vendors; work closely with central marketing group to ensure consistency with Global vendor strategy where possible.


·         Seek to build suitable local inventory to help grow market share. This will include gathering marketing pricing etc again working closely with Central marketing group.

  ·         Be active in the field against an expectation of a minimum of 12 customer visits per week, and record all sales activity using the CRM tool supplied.


Special conditions (e.g. frequent travel, early starts and late finishes)


Based in Dubai

9am – 6pm or as workload demands


Qualifications/education required


·         Education to a degree level preferable

·         Fluent verbally and literally in English and Hindi.

·         Computer software knowledge

·         Some formal Business / Administration or Industry qualification

Necessary skills, knowledge and experience

·         A recognised figure in the Network and Security solutions market

·         Ability to sell different ELV solutions (mainly physical security systems)

·         Ability to identify and understand customer needs in both product and services

·         Evidence of an understanding of the local market, and an existing business network

·         Sales experience in supply chain & added value

·         A proven track record in finding, developing and closing new business from new accounts.

·         Fluent in English and Hindi, both verbal & written
