Anixter Power Solutions has an immediate opening for a Customer Service Representative.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Handling of all inquiries relative to designated customer accounts
  • Pricing phone, email and fax inquiries
  • Entering, monitoring and ensuring prompt delivery of customer’s orders
  • Maintenance of all relative pricing records in the database
  • Maintaining regular contact with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Ensuring tenders are completed and delivered on time
  • Monitoring inventory levels for designated alliance partners
  • Providing follow-up information to your customers on outstanding orders
  • Following up on all designated pricing inquiries to obtain orders and competitive information
  • Participating in functions relative to the position. (i.e. sales meetings, training seminars, etc.)
  • Making joint sales calls with other representatives of the company as required
  • Participating in sales drives, programs and promotions
  • Training on software pertinent to your function (Trend, MS Office, E-mail etc.)

Experience / Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of sales or related experience working in a distribution environment
  • High Degree of Commitment to Customer Focus and Customer Satisfaction
  • Advanced capability in MS Office applications (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Detail Oriented, able to effectively plan, organize and establish priorities
  • Willingness to commit and work the hours required to fulfill responsibilities
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good Team Player with Excellent Communication Skills and a High Level of Self Confidence
  • Ability to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated and a self starter
