The Role
In this position, you will be a key member of our warehouse operations team. This position, based within our warehouse, will primarily act as a operations coordinator for our operations team. IN this role, you can expect the following:
Complete international carrier documentation/certificate of compliance, etc.
Process incoming vendor shipments for accuracy, process through Anixter system
Train warehouse associates on shipping and receiving SOPs
Manage freight claims (all aspects)
Manage carrier & courier relationships
Manage non-conforming material cage
Process RDR/Ras
Mentor and motivate team to attain daily expectations to KPI
Provide daily assistance and backup for shipping & receiving functions
You will also complete warehouse based tasks, so being comfortable picking, packing, shipping, cutting wire&cable, and operating a forklift are essential for this role. You can expect to be working within the warehouse 100% of the time. This is a partial list of duties intended to give you an idea of what the position will be. More or less duties may be assigned based on the demand of the business, and the role is subject to change.


To be successful, you must have:
3+ years of Shipping/Receiving experience and/or 1+ years in Lead role at Anixter
Knowledge of small parcel & LTL shipment carriers and software programs (UPS, Fedex, Worldship, etc)
1+ years’ experience and/or certified utilizing forklift and reach trucks
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to lift, bend, reach, push, pull, squat and walk throughout a shift.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time, generally an entire shift (8+ hours per day).
