Global Physical Security Program Manager

Core Responsibilities

·         Ability to assist with emergency situations and asset protection initiatives as needed with support from SME in those areas

·         Includes domestic travel 50% of the time with limited to no international travel

o   Must have and maintain valid passport and be able to obtain TSA or customs expedited entry programs

·         Write policies, programs, RFP process’s, SOW, MSA, and create flow-charts

·         Communicate effectively, work independently and as part of a team

·         Respectful of people and team members from a variety of different backgrounds and culture

·         Serve as liaison for safety and emergency management responsibilities

·         Can create training programs from inception to implementation

·         Work with entry level to senior leadership to implement mandatory processes or programs

·         Must be highly collaborative and foster relationship with stakeholders

·         Support Director of Global Security on strategy and initiatives

·         Take leadership and ownership on projects

·         Provide regular status updates as directed

·         To be successful, you will need to be able to juggle, multi-task, in a fast-paced environment

·         Attend conferences and build relationships to serve as SME for Anixter

·         Can process entry to mid-level tasks associated with physical security

·         Process tickets via dashboard or via E-mail

·         High level integrity with great work ethic

·         Follow through on service requests, projects and assignments

·         Must be willing to learn and take on tasks associated with asset protection and physical security

·         Command Microsoft office suite products, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Word & Visio (preferred but no required)

 

Physical Security Program Manager, primary function:

 

·         Previous knowledge of physical security system standards which include but not limited to CCTV both analog and IP systems

·         Card Access systems & installation & can learn new systems

·         Burglar alarm equipment & installation

·         Lock hardware, preferred but not required

·         Must have project and program management experience with enterprise wide systems

·         Design physical security for facilities using program standards in Visio or other approved software

·         Must be patient and know how to overcome obstacles

·         Must be able to manage budgets and create creative ethical methods to reduce costs

·         Must read and keep up with emerging trends in physical security

·         Must be willing to implement POC on emerging physical security trends

o   Create KPI on testing approval and deployment of new physical security technology

·         Must be willing to back-up other team members while they are traveling or on vacation for projects as requested including serving on call as part of a rotation

·         Must be comfortable attending all conference calls as directed

·         Must be able to send project or meeting recaps and provide regular updates as directed

·         Must be able to manage one or more vendors for project stakeholders

·         Basic to mid-level networking experience

·         Primarily responsible for physical security and or asset protection construction projects throughout North America

·         Can create documents based on audience end user such as entry level staff, installation technicians or senior level managers

·         Create documents in Visio using standardized physical security template or must be able to learn per the Director of Global Physical Security

·         Create or process burglar alarm codes, print and manage ID badges

·         Familiar with NFPA, ADA and general physical security installation codes as it pertains to wiring and UL guidelines

·         Assist with investigations, pull video or remote view of video

·         Help to create programs for global implementation per Director of Global Security

·         Familiar with how information systems operate or be willing to learn

·         Assist or back up with other junior level tasks

·         Complete other asset protection of physical security related tasks as assigned

·         Be willing to support all pre-selected vendors for success

·         At least 10 years of recent experience in physical security, project/program management
