AIM Solutions Coordinator

This position will help demonstrate, install, develop (R&D), and service JIT (Just in Time), Rapid Fire 2.0 and vending solutions (software and hardware) used for customer managed storerooms worldwide. JIT is a proprietary replenishment inventory solution and Rapid Fire 2.0 is an external storeroom management software program.

The position will be based in Glenview and may also support field and corporate operation’s initiatives (i.e. conversions, new business implementations, SCS project costing and analysis).

This position will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and maintaining JIT/Rapid Fire 2.0 customers from a system and technical capacity. The job includes heavy interaction with Anixter sales, inventory management, operations, and customers. This position requires approximately 40-60% travel, generally 3-5 day trips which could include some weekends Travel can be anywhere in the world including Latin America, Asia Pac and Europe (passport required).

Ideal candidate will have the following:

? System Skills – Software (Excel, Microsoft Access), hardware and connectivity (LAN, wireless, etc.)

? Proficiency with inventory management and supply chain systems

? Strong Customer Service perspective

? Inventory Management understanding and experience

? Understanding of wholesale distribution and supply chain life-cycle

? Excellent verbal skills for communication and presentations at all levels

? Adept at problem-solving and working independently

? Ability to multi-task as you will work on multiple projects simultaneously

? Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand throughout the day.

? Ability to travel globally

? BS Degree
