Job Summary:

We currently have an outstanding career opportunity for a highly motivated team player as a Credit Analyst.

The successful candidate will perform all credit and collection functions including extending credit, monitoring and use of collateral risk tools, collection of all customer receivables and approve customer orders while interacting with all Anixter Security Branch sales force.

Job duties

  • Collect monies for an assigned A/R portfolio.
  • Perform account reconciliations.
  • Prepare third party collection documentation.
  • Monitor accounts for exceeding credit limits and past due.
  • Review Monthly AR of approximately the top 50 accounts
  • Monitor and approve/decline orders.
  • Review accounts in the portfolio and update the credit line as needed
  • Provide customer information and correspondence as requested.
  • Obtain and update customer financial information
  • Provide customer service

Job Requirements:

Reporting to the Credit Manager, the successful candidate for this position will possess:

Experience & Education:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting (preferred)
  • CCP designation or enrollment in the CCP program (preferred)
  • 2+ years of corporate experience in a credit and collection role.

Job-specific knowledge:

  • Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Ability to multi-task, remain organized and prioritize tasks
  • Proven attention to detail
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure

  • Some travel might be necessary (less than 10%)
