Job Description

This sales support role acts a coordinator to ensure timely and accurate Part Creation and Drop Ship Billings for the North America NSS business.

Part Creation

Quick part and cost setup for the Security (Tri-ed) Organization.

  • Analyze and review every request sent from Sales to ensure all required information is accurate
  • Validate information in Anixter systems, email confirmation from supplier, or sales quote
  • Create parts following data governance structure
  • Load system costs
  • Return completed request to sales within a 1-hour turnaround
  • Act as a facilitator based on specific vendors

Drop Ship Billings Specialist

Act as a liaison between the Sales Organization, the material Vendor, Accounts Payable (AP), and Inventory Management. Ensure timely billing to the customer when a drop ship order is released by the vendor for all North America NSS divisions.

  • Collect any invoices for material that has shipped and submit to AP
  • Verifying that the Vendors have the correct Anixter contact information
  • Audit the vendor invoice quantity and amount, working with other support functions when discrepancies arise
  • Maintain a log of communication for each Purchase Order (PO) and follow up on any open action items

Qualifications & Skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Display proper email and phone etiquette
  • Experience working with transactions where accuracy and attention to detail is critical to success
  • Must effectively manage time, consistently meet deadlines and prioritize assignments for efficiency
  • Eagerness to learn quickly and to work in a collaborative environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Aptitude to learn new software programs
